Baby Update

The boys are really growing!!! We went to the doctor for a check up on Friday and Carter weighed in at 2.8 pounds and Barrett surprised us all at 3 pounds. We were very tickled at their progress we have about six and half weeks to go.

The nursery is coming along so we will post some pictures soon! We are still putting the finishing touches on everything.

This is Humpty Dumpty who will hang from a swing above the glider rocker. As you can see he has multiple fabrics on him...This is all the fabric colors for the boys bedding.

What Color of Blue do you see?

We have had BIG fun attempting to select the perfect color for the nursery. Thank goodness for paint samples. Stay tuned and we will let you in on our selection! Top Coat: Sky Blue, Left Coat: Blue Booties, Right Coat: First Light...

26 Week Check-up

Baby Carter at 26 weeks was captured here taking a quick nap in between kicking his brother and enjoying the sugar rush from Heather's glucose test!

Baby Barrett at 26 weeks. He did not want to hold still for any really amazing pics! He was to busy spinning around from all that sugar. Barrett is no longer head down like his brother. He is now laying sideways (transverse) in Mom's tummy. Perhaps if we give him some more sugar he will go back!

Shower in Lexington, Tennessee

We had our very first Baby Shower in Matt's hometown. We were so thrilled to see so many people that we don't get to see very often. Carter and Barrett would especially like to thank everyone for all their hard work, gifts, and yummy food. We appreciated and loved every minute of it!

Prego Heather!!

This is a rare pregnant photo of Heather. I am sure there will be many more to come before July 18th !

Grandmama

This is Matt's Mom to the right of Heather. She can not hardly wait to meet her two new grandsons.

My Little Helper

The precious little girl is our niece Addison. She is so excited about "babies" and all the baby stuff. However, she is two and did not really understand why she did not get any presents. But helping open was still pretty fun for her.

Boppy Seats

We were so excited to receive boppy seats from Aunt Tamara and Cousin Addison. Barrett and Carter are hopefully going to love these seats to free up Mommy and Daddy's hands!

They Have Names...

After much deliberation and sleepless nights the boys finally have names. Baby A is Carter Harrison and Baby B is Barrett Matthew. We have been working hard to getting their little nursery and ALL the baby stuff ready for them. Stay tuned for pictures of all the festivities.

Baby Carter at 22 weeks

Our little Carter is so precious and sound asleep during his photo shoot! He weighed in at
1 lb 1 oz and is head down. Usually it's Carter that is moving and uncooperative for all the ultrasounds but today he decided to behave. He apparently told brother, "tag your it" , since it was his brother who was not wanting to be disturbed.

Baby Barrett at 22 weeks

No Pictures Please!!! Usually Barrett is so cooperative for pictures but today he decided he would much rather be squirmy instead. If you are wondering what body part is pushing on his little face... its his brothers back! We also want to mention that Barrett is also head down and weighing in at 1 lb 2 oz.

We are having TWINS !!!!

We are so pleased to announce that we are pregnant with Twins! We are both shocked, thrilled, and nervous. We are 11 weeks and 3 days to be exact. We also wanted to let everyone know that we have missed them and numerous activities lately as Heather has been VERY sick! Apparently, this is common in a twin pregnancy and hopefully will be past us soon!!!!

There's Really Two

Here they are at 9 weeks and 6 days...According to the Ultrasound lady they are looking less like tadpoles and more like babies!!! Since we have twins we have an ultrasound with every doctor visit. We love having all the pictures which is great for the scrap book!

Yikes!!! Tornado, Maybe... WHAT!!!

As many of you have heard on the news there were several Tornado's that touched down around our area. Well, unfortunately our neighborhood was hit! The damage appears to be primarily downed trees, damage to homes, neighborhood club house and pool, and apparently the golf course (I have not seen the course, yet). The entire experience was beyond scary. "The storm" was only here for 5 minutes. But, WOW was that enough! I have never seen a sky that was black and green or softball sized hail, and I hope I never do again. Matt and I are so thankful that no one was hurt in our community.

So now comes clean up... If you own a truck, have a chain saw, can drive a bobcat, or feel the need to do some roof repair come on down!

Matt and I would also like to Thank our neighbors for running to our house as soon as they saw damage and immediately started pitching in. This experience has left me a little rattled, but especially thankful

Swimming Pool????

This picture does not do the hole justice! All the neighborhood children advised putting in a pool... Perhaps they are on to something.

Yes! Diaster did strike...

Saturday night proved to be very interesting. Scroll down and take a look at our "BIG ADVENTURE"

Excuse me sir, "Have you ever done this before"

Here is another one, this time a guy goes for a ride on the bobcat.

Here are some videos from the debris pickup. I'm thankful for my job so I don't have to do stuff like this all the time. -Matt

Well, here is the damage from the storms Sat. night. I suppose we can call ourselves lucky considering it could have been a lot worse. But this was pretty common with the neighborhood last night.
