Too Much Milk and not enough nap...

So I was cooking dinner the other night and Carter started babbling, pretty loudly, reminded me of those "fun" college days of late night partying! Then he started babbling and falling over in his bumbo. I ask him if he was alright and all I got was this look....

Two Peas in a Pod

So here they are in their little costumes, which they had on for about 10 minutes before the screaming started. Halloween was tough since it was raining and all the really fun festivities occured during bedtime. It was still cute to see them all dressed up!

Barrett and Grammie

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today, we assumed that this was going to be one of those magical memory making moments, we were so wrong! The boys did not really enjoy picking out their little pumpkins. Carter screamed and Barrett was generally disinterested. Oh well maybe next year...

Momma, this is so boring!!!

So I was attempting to clean up the house and Carter was following me around in his Bumbo seat. Once we reached the bathroom he could no longer handle all the excitement.

THE TWO MONTH CHECK UP

Well, today finally arrived a day that was hanging over my (Momma's) head for some time. The first check up with "THE SHOTS". As we were getting the boys ready for their big day I realized that I could not even reward them for surviving the check up. I must say I could not believe how well they did. After the assembly line of injections was over I was actually the only one left crying. We also could not believe how much they weighed. Carter weighed in at 10 lbs 13oz and Barrett a substantial 11lbs 4 oz... Wow, I suppose those round the clock feedings are working after all.

The Podee

Everyone ask us how we can feed two babies at once. Well world here is the answer: The Podee. In our mine this "bottle" is the best invention ever! Barrett is the master at self-feeding. As you can see in the first picture he is "gesturing" to let us know how much he appreciates having to feed his self sometimes.

"Momma, Please turn the fan off"

I went into the nursery the other day to check on Barrett during nap time and this is how I found him. I suppose that I should turn off the ceiling fan next time.

Carter's Got Talent

So picture this: Matt takes Carter into the Nursery to change a VERY stinky diaper. As soon as Matt gets the diaper off Carter seizes the opportunity to "get Daddy". Carter proceeds to shoot poo!! What!!! Matt came running into our room covered in Carter poo and says, "do you want the baby or the mess". I could tell that I probably should take the mess because Matt appeared to be on the verge of a major melt down. I entered the Nursery and can only describe the scene as something you would see on CSI. There was poo everywhere. It was all over the changing pad and table, carpet and had even made it to cover the back of the nursery door!! So after cleaning and scrubbing for a while the mess was cleaned up. We just were completely shocked that something that only weighs 6 pounds could be so destructive...
