Yikes!!! Tornado, Maybe... WHAT!!!

As many of you have heard on the news there were several Tornado's that touched down around our area. Well, unfortunately our neighborhood was hit! The damage appears to be primarily downed trees, damage to homes, neighborhood club house and pool,and apparently the golf course (I have not seen the course, yet). The entire experience was beyond scary. "The storm" was only here for 5 minutes. But, WOW was that enough! I have never seen a sky that was black and green or softball sized hail, and I hope I never do again. Matt and I are so thankful that no one was hurt in our community.

So now comes clean up... If you own a truck, have a chain saw, can drive a bobcat, or feel the need to do some roof repair come on down!

Matt and I would also like to Thank our neighbors for running to our house as soon as they saw damage and immediately started pitching in. This experience has left me a little rattled, but especially thankful

Swimming Pool????

This picture does not do the hole justice! All the neighborhood children advised putting in a pool... Perhaps they are on to something.

Well, here is the damage from the storms Sat. night. I suppose we can call ourselves lucky considering it could have been a lot worse. But this was pretty common with the neighborhood last night.
