It's a TOOTH!

So finally after what seems like weeks of fussiness, Barrett has a little tooth that has made its debut. Our first tooth! As soon as I can get a good picture of it I will post it. Carter is surely to follow. Yeah Barrett!!!

Check-Up Stats

We went to the pediatrician for their 6 month check up today! Our little guys are growing very well! Carter weighed in at 18-0 lbs and Barrett weighed in at 18-14! Whew, now I know why my back hurts. They both were 27 1/4 inches long; so we appeared to be around the 75th percentile on the growth chart. The really exciting news is that we don't have to have any more shots until our first birthday! Yeah!

In true "Horn" fashion I felt the need to change Carter's diaper on the exam table right before the nurse came in with the shots...Carter thought this would be the perfect opportunity to pee everywhere. It was all over him, the table, floor, and me! Oh joy, So after cleaning a baby, myself and the exam room I was ready to hit the road with our circus act and let some other family share the spot light...

We're Six Months Old

The Twins turned six months old on Saturday so we celebrated with a few cupcakes. The babies actually celebrated with rice cereal (too little for frosting). As you can tell in the pictures they were very entertained with the singing! If you are wondering why Barrett's name on his cup cake appears smudged its because Carter decided to stick is foot in it! Oh gracious...

Go Vols!??!

Carter is so Sad!

We had to break the news to Carter that Daddy did not get the Head Coach position at UT. He was very upset, but did eventually calm down...Ha!

Sweet Potato Disaster

The other night I was feeding Barrett his most favorite food, sweet potatoes. He has started using his hands to swat away anything that disinterests him. He decided to smack the spoon which sent a huge dollop right on his left eye. On a scale of 1 to 10 for Mommy hysterics, I immediately went to a 12! I just knew that I had blinded my baby with sweet potatoes. As I frantically wiped away the layers, Barrett thought it was the funniest experience ever. So we thought, just for fun, we would throw on some Safety glasses to prevent any future mishaps.
